We got back home from Arizona last night. Our neighbor and a friend have seen Mara, and both are very impressed with how the surgery came out. I saw that Mara had piled a bunch of her male clothing on top of the washer and dryer before we had left and suggested that now would be a good time to give them away. Needless to say, she loved the idea. She purged the rest of her male clothes and gave some of them to our neighbor, whose brother is about the right size for the clothes. The rest went to a thrift store. How liberating!

Now it’s time to purge my side of the closet — not that I’m transitioning, but I have too much stuff that I don’t wear anymore. Mara has really inspired me. We’ll work on my clothes this weekend.
